These islands provide a wide range of destination choices. From Bora Bora to Tahiti, the magic of the South Pacific prevails.

The popular TV show, Survivor, brought the relatively remote Marquesas Islands to the lime light.

These islands provide a perfect backdrop for exotic cruises. There are seven different cruise lines — each with its own charm.

Additional Information About Tahiti
The main groups of Tahiti & Her South Pacific Islands are located 18 degrees south of the Equator - meaning the seasons are reversed. Summer in Tahiti (Dec-Mar) is warmer, more humid and has higher probability for rain. Tahiti is south and east of Hawaii and is a 7 ½ to 8 hour non-stop flight from Los Angeles or 12 ½ hours from New York.

Tahiti is comprised of 118 islands located with 5 groupings---Society; Tuamotu; Marquesas; Austral & Gambier. Most visitors to Tahiti stay in the Society and Tuamoto areas. Visitors to Tahiti in one year would be approximately equal to 1 week in Hawaii so Tahiti is still very unspoiled. The second largest lagoon in the world is found on Rangiroa in the Tuamotus.

Tahiti is a land of soaring mountain peaks, indescribable lagoons of blue-green water, lush green foliage and a myriad of flower colors.

Accommodations range from guest rooms up to deluxe 5 star properties. Tahiti is one of the few places in the world where you will find overwater bungalows.

Although it is not legal to have a binding, recognized marriage ceremony in Tahiti without spending at least 30 days there prior to the actual ceremony, many visitors choose to arrange a local ceremony to re-new their vows.

Tahiti is truly a magical paradise primarily for couples.
